What is it?
Honey bees collect pollen as a source of power for themselves and their young larvae. They get that pollen from the male flower buds of plants. Partly because the worker bees eat so much pollen, they can produce royal jelly.
Pollen looks like colourful grains and can be eaten. If you put a grain under the microscope, you will see a certain pattern. In this way, the pollen grain is a fingerprint of the flower it came from. Because most pollen comes from a variety of flowers, the grains have different colours.
What does it do?
Pollen is suitable as an addition to a healthy and balanced diet and adds a flavourful touch to smoothies, yoghurt or salads, for example.
We strongly recommend that you follow the recommended daily dosage of this product and do not use it as a substitute for a varied diet.
